Recommends it for: anyone who is interested in Egypt
I picked this book up while browsing through the YA section of my library - I've always thought that ancient Egypt was a fascinating time period to learn more about and was happily surprised with how interesting this book ended up being. I learned a ton while reading it (did you know that the royalty used "pillows" made out of wood when sleeping? I cannot even imagine how uncomfortable that must have been!!)
