Recommends it for: Readers interested in the Medici family of Florence
This is a wonderful collection of letters exchanged among Medici family members from Cosimo de' Medici through his grandson, Lorenzo (the Magnificent). It includes many letters written by women regarding daily living during the Renaissance. This is a reprint of the original book by Janet Ross published many years ago. I recommend it highly.
