I had this book as a kid and loved it. Just read it now with my 3.5yo and he loved it too. It's appropriate for his age in content and format (though is a bit wordy sometimes). He loves the flaps he can lift.

As to level of detail and accuracy: The book refers to "sperm," "egg," "birth canal," "uterus," and the "special cuddle" grown ups do (with illustrations of all, the special cuddle is under a sheet). There are anatomical illustrations of the interior female reproductive system, with clothin
