A good children's book for starting my summer break, an escape to the world of New York City story. Distant parents, boarding school, maids and high fashion; it's all there.

Twelve year old Jane does not feel her life reflects her true self. When she becomes friends with Kallie, she discovers her real self.

Somehow this book reminds me a little of book "Time at the Top" and Disney movie "Lady and the Tramp".
