Charming, and charmingly slim, volume on the most difficult and most worthwhile of philosophers. Fulfills Kant's promise that future practitioners of his metaphysics would have a lucidity that Kant himself admitted he lacked. The main problem in so many studies of Kant is completely absent in this one: the almost obligatory adoption of Kant's abstruseness with none of the genius or insight that makes it forgivable. (In other words, there is a difference between being dense and just being dense.) ...more
