I'm so confused! I really don't know how I'm supposed to feel about this book...

Check out the book description:

Oh no! Surfer - make that ex-surfer - Carly Winters can't believe she accidentally faxed an erotic letter to... a secure military line? Now navy SEAL Jonathan "Hunt" Huntington is at her door, fax in hand, asking her how the fantasy ends.

Talk about fate... Because Carly's parents think Hunt is her new boyfriend, and Carly does need a wedding date ASAP. Hunt's ready to play - only on one
3.5* Once you get past the contrived meeting in the beginning of the book, the story is enjoyable and perhaps a little deeper than expected. As the story unfolds we learn Carly had a career ending surfing accident, her family is wealthy and pushy, and her best friend "Sam" is having dating problems. We also meet Hunt, a SEAL with "save the world" (not to mention control) issues, and his brother, Ty, who has his own problems. Some of the situations are light, and even humorous, while others are m ...more
I thought Blaze books were hotter than mainstream romances but so far, only one Blaze title was (Susan Kearney's Beyond The Edge).

Coming Undone was a fast, enjoyable read but too short for much plot or character development. His friend, Cash, sounds interesting.
Enjoyable Harlequin...what does it say, though, that I was more interested in the secondary romance than the main one? I'd really have loved it if this were Ty and Samantha's story.
Carolyn “Carly” Winters is a retired professional surfer. She has a terrible accident in her last competition and since then she has panic attacks whenever she gets near the ocean. So everyone thought it was strange when she bought the beach house, but it was all part of her plan to get back in the saddle. Now she is helping her best friend spice up her sex life, so she writes an erotic fantasy and faxed it to her friend. But what Carly doesn’t know, she accidentally faxed it to the Mayport Mili ...more
Hunt is a Navy SEAL with a penchant for fixing everyone else's problems, but depending on no one. Carly was a professional surfer before an accident ended her career and made her afraid of the ocean. Her parents are pressuring her to return to their high society life, with prospective groom picked out to accompany her at her sister's wedding. When Carly accidentally faxes an erotic letter to Hunt's office, he follows up in person and is anxious to explore their attraction. He agrees to be her da ...more

I am feeling quite neutral towards this book. It's average, nothing really amazing. But it is a nice silly (in a good way) read if you are up for it. I'll give it 3.5 stars. I do enjoy their naughty, playful banter throughout the book. The start of the book was pretty hilarious. It has some angst due to the trauma Carly has been through.

I do think the book wasn't that nicely paced though, rushed, too many things packed into the story hence taking away from the development of the characters and
Carly Winters is trying to help her friend spice up her sex life and faxes her a fantasy to help her out. Too bad she sends it to the wrong fax number and a Navy SEAL turns up at her door asking questions about how she got the number and what was she doing faxing her fantasy to the Navy. Lt. Jonathan "Hunt" Huntington could have let Carly off easy, but once he sees her, he wants to know more of her fantasy and be the one to fulfill it.

This is the first in a series about Navy SEALs by Tyler. I ac
Heroine is an ex-professional surfer who's retired because of a bad accident. Hero is a SEAL home on leave. She's trying to help her friend spice up her love life, & writes out a sexy fantasy for her friend to use with her boyfriend--but she faxes it to the wrong number, an official Navy number. Hero's the guy who comes to check out this suspicious fax sending person. He arrives just as the heroine has made up a boyfriend because her parents are pressuring her accept a date to her sister's w ...more
Bought this book for my Kindle for a long haul flight. It was an OK, easy read that passed the time. No real shocks in the plot but the characters were engaging

Hunt is a navy SEAL who meets up with Carly when she sends an erotic fax to a secure line instead of sending it to her friend. Carly is an ex-surfer who, after a life threatening accident, is scared of the water. He ends up pretending to be her boyfriend to her family for some functions because he is attracted to her and she is in a bind.
The story had a lot going on. There were 3 main plots going on. 1)The chemistry between Carly Winters and Jonathon "Hunt" Huntington, 2)the relationship between Carly's friend Sam and Hunt's brother Ty, 3)and Hunt's SEAL career. After Carly's surfing accident that cost her her career she hasn't been able to go near the water, add to that the pressure from her family to have a date for her sister's wedding and Carly's life is out of control. But when she accidently send an erotic letter to a mili ...more
3 and a half star.
The story was original, fun and sexy but I feel terribly disappointed by the ending.
For Hunt and Carly, it's left to your appreciation to imagine the rest of their HEA which is fine but what about Sam and Ty ????
Highly frustrating !
like almost most romance books, the ending was abrupt. the MC just realized his love and everything's okay. I got bored reading this. the beginning was okay, funny even (when the MCs' first met), but after that well, let's just say, i've been a master of scanning the book.

i also didn't like it when the author added ty and sam's story. i don't care about them. i was reading this for the MCs'. so again, skip and scan.
Fun story with interesting characters. However there was a bit too much going on to give it a 5 star rating. The sex scenes are not very explicit, but hot nonetheless.

I had a hard time finishing this book. Ty's ordeal brought my own pain to the surface. That being said - I liked this book, a lot. Hunt and Carly were great together, and I enjoyed watching them grow as a couple. And what's not to love about hot sex with a SEAL?
Hot, sizzling story, yet gives you a glimpse of what the life of a Navy SEAL would be like. What I've learned from this book.... just because you grow up all alone, doesn't mean you have to live your life all alone. I put this one in my favorites....

For me this was an okay story. Hunter and Carly story was pretty good. But call me a prude, I don't think someone should have sex the first time they meet. I guess I should have seen this coming. I doubt I'll read any of the others about the SEALS.

It was not bad but I have some problems with girls having sex the first time they meet someone. Probably I'm a prude.

But the story was good and I enjoyed the secondary plot, too. An easy reading :)

Hot & yummy...what girl doesn't dream of the romance of a SEAL - a modern day (good guy) Viking, Highlander, or Wild West lawman. Bonus of a friend's relationship being told and some family drama/connection.

What a story!
Imagine, answering a steamy email in person.
I just loved this story!
Wonderful job!
Wonderful first in the trilogy!
Looking forward to many great things from this author!

I've tried to read this so many times but just couldn't complete for a host of reasons :( hope I do find time to read it at some future date
An extra star for the "An Officer and a Gentleman" reminiscent book cover and the rescue-scene in full dress uniform at the end.
Great read, expected content from a Harlequin story. You cannot go wrong with a male lead in uniform! Hot!
Coming Undone had an interesting premise and characters, but the story didn't engage me.
It was fine. I really liked the premise at the beginning, but the rest of the book was just okay.

lol I thought he was naked! One of those really, really bad covers that I can't resist. :)
i dont understand why they could be together. i liked the whole fantsy to the SEAL thing
it is what it is - a harlequin blaze. but as they go - this one is pretty good.
Cute story, but not a lot of depth in terms of characters.
