He won the National League Cy Young award in 1971 and was the first and only Canadian inducted into the Hall of Fame. Inducted into the Canadian Hall of Fame in 1987, Fergie became the Commissioner of the New Canadian Baseball League in 2002. This is his story.

Jenkins does have an interesting story to be told, but this book fails to tell it. All I got out of this book was a massive headache from trying to read poorly-worded, poorly-constructed passages. Very disappointing biography.
