"Big Book of..." is great illustrated series on a wide variety of topics with lots of top-notch artists and authors.
Morgan Stanton
Hilarious writing and great artwork from "over 40 of the world's top comics artists". The reader is taken on a magical mystery tour through the world's most famous paranormal and unexplained encounters, led by the Victorian godfather of paranormal investigations, Charles Fort. UFOs, alien abductions, Bigfoot, the Mothman - good company all. I believe in virtually nothing in this book but heartily encourage everyone to give it a look.

Every corner of paranormal stories are covered in entertaining and informative little comics, all drawn by different comic artists. A lot of stuff I'd never heard of is in here, and this would make an excellent primer to anyone interested.
