Crilley provides enough back history to allow new readers to make sense of the tale; his occasional comic-style drawings help young readers picture the planet, its inhabitants, and the scooter by which they travel. Filled with contrivances, there are holes in the plot and no real character development. Fast-paced and easy to read, this adventure will appeal to non-critical readers moving into chapter books.

This is an awesome one in the series. In it Akiko is in the sip but gets transfered back in time. And the fate of the future rests in her hands. What time does she go back to? Will she save the future? Will she make the future fall apart? Read this book and find out.
