Das ist ein Buch, welches man jedem angehenden Techniker oder Ingenieur in die Hand drücken sollte.

Wer selbst einen Handwerksberuf in Deutschland erlernt hat und dann eine technische Laufbahn einschlug, wird bei diesem Buch sicher sehr oft schmunzeln und dennoch viele nützliche Lehren und Anregungen finden. Und das alles recht kurzweilig verpackt und uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.

Gerhard Neumann (Jahrgang 1917) erzählt hier seinen Lebensweg, der ihn - von der KFZ-Lehre in Frankfurt/Oder und der

Gerhard Neumann is not your ordinary German Jew during WWII. His intellect, charm, and endless drive lead him to success as an US Army Air Force engineer in China. His story is amazing and unbelievable at times, but I believe he leaves some things out. All of his stories detail his great ideas and inventions; life somehow always ends up going his way (yes, unbelievable for someone in his predicament at the time.)
