Un libro che mi ha lasciato interdetto. Capolavoro o ciofeca?

This book left me confused. I'm not sure what is was about since the story was all over the place. I guess I just don't care for his type of writing. It's kind of like poetry where you have to guess what he is saying. Not for me.

An intense story that exudes rich feelings expressed in their multiple vibrations, but that is narrated in a nostalgic and self-pitying tone. Doesn’t lift the spirits but as a heavy stone sinks the reader into tedium.

The average rating for this book is 4.0, I don't understand why. It was so hard to follow & I'm still unsure exactly what happened at the end...

I liked this book - although not as much as God's Mountain. I like his use of first person and the way he describes his actions without coming right out and saying what just happened. It really makes you think about what he's trying to convey by his ues of almost poetic-like prose.
