I've read one of D'arc's more mainstream PNR romances before, so when I saw both 'friends taking it to the next level' and special ops guys who get paranormal powers, I was excited to give Warrior's Heart a try.

I loved the first chapters when the hero initiates a romance with the woman he's loved for years and who has secretly loved him in return, but once they start hooking up the 'story to sex balance' in this short story is heavily on the sex side. Don't get me wrong, I do like some steam to
