Great book about a girl whose step-father loses her in a poker game to another gambler. Her mother tells her to leave. She sees a family leaving the area, so the children hide her in the wagon. Best thing she could have done...

Historical American Christian novel featuring a young woman who escapes from an arranged marriage, and finds herself working for a delightful family. A bit 'Sound of Music' but none the worse for that. Well-written with good characterisation, particularly some of the children.

Predictable, but sweet. Escaping a marriage to a man who won her in gambling, Sabina is hidden by a widower and his four children.

Very cute book. I read it a while ago, but still remember it being a good read book. Another historical romance book I so enjoy reading.
