In spite of this atlas being outdated by nearly six years, I found it to be informative. It includes historical events on the Middle East along with timelines and photos dealing with these countries.

The atlas also includes past conflicts among Middle Eastern countries. For example, both Qatar and Bahrain once claimed the Hawar island. They nearly went to war for it. But it was eventually awarded to Bahrain.
