I've read a few books about photography over the past couple of years as I've been learning new techniques and how things work in general. I really liked this book. It is written simply, but not so much that it's patronising. Things are explained well; there are lots of examples: screenshots, sample pictures, etc; there are chapters not just about the camera but about lighting, and accessories.

All in all, for a quick, easy to read, and reasonably priced 'one stop shop' I'd definit...more

Good if you need a primer on where to find the various functions on the camera. Gives a little insight into why you would use each, but not terribly detailed.
