MC Halliday weaves a fantastic tale, that grips the reader from page one. Magic, romance, a hero every woman dreams of, a heroine that you love, a well told tale that will be read again and again. MC has the "voice" that all readers search for. I'm anxiously waiting for more books penned by MC Halliday! I'm recommending this tale to all my family and friends!

I've been reading an amazing historical fantasy romance read by author MC Halliday. I had the joy of finding her books at a previous publisher a year or so ago with I CAME UP THE STAIRS, a historical regency romance. This book had me captivated by her writing voice and an absorbing read set in London. I'm just so looking forward to more in this series. I hope this book gets re-released so that others can have the joy of reading this and more from that series.

Magaith is the daughter of the King of Munster. It's a troublesome time with vikings in Ireland, and her father has arranged a married with the mighty warrior king Borda of Connacht. She is a dutiful daughter and this will be of a great help for he clan.

But Magaith is in love with her knight protector Sygaith. He could never betray his king in that way, not even for the love of her. It is his duty to bring her to Connacht, and that is what he will do even if it breaks him. After that More...
