On the Prowl contains two separate novellas.
The first one is Even for Me by Taryn Blackthorne. I'll be honest I extremely disliked this novella. The writing was horrible and that was sad because I really really wanted to like Aisling because I'm a huge fan of really strong main characters that are women. The one and only reason I forced myself to finish was because I wanted to write the review fairly and I knew I had to give the second novella a chance.

This was very uneven in quality. The first story "Even For Me" by Taryn Blackthorne was not very good. The writing was all over the place and at times barely comprehensible. I really liked both of these stories. They are unrelated and by different authors. The second story, by Kaye Chambers, was the best. Both of these stories demand sequels, so get writing, ladies!

Blackthorne's Even For Me. Where do I start? The writing was awful. It lacked any real flow, descriptions were poor, and there was so much confusion. Especially between pronouns and nouns. There were some points where I thought, "who <insert verb here> WHO!?" It was really frustrating. 1.5/5.
Chambers' Tiger By The Tail was amazing compared to the first story. It was too short though. It was like a sample. 3/5.
