Funnily enough the cover is the same as my profile picture which is what drew me to the book in a fish and chip shop in a small town. "In the Wizard's Garden" has always captivated me and this book started out that way - mystery, opera, Christchurch. It fell a bit flat though. Very drawn out in character development at the start, then rushed in the end with the solution (or not) of the murder. Looks like this book has a sequel but is not captivating enough to continue.
