Run Fast is an excellent collection of tried and true running exercises and routines that can lead to faster distance running. Among the topics there is good information on fartleks, intervals, form, drills, and race preparation. I have incorporated many of the exercises into my running with the hope that I will beat some of my PR's at various distances.

I've sort of picked up running and, bam, got peer pressured into running a very far relay as well as a marathon. This book was recommended and I'm happy I read it because it puts a different perspective on running for me. I'm very happy I read it. Maybe I will get through that relay and marathon!

Obviously, if you are not a runner, do not bother. I read the 2nd edition of this book and really like it. I am currently training using some of the methods discussed in this book and so far they are working!

The book was inspirational and easy to understand. I would love to say that I ran much faster after reading it, but I will have to settle on the fact that I improved.
