I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I'm a memoir junky..there is something reassuring in reading about another soul who has faced challenges and not always triumphed over them..its just always nice to know you're not the only one who screws up on a pretty regular basis at this game we call life.

Excellent memoir about the first years out of college and trying to find one's self and voice. Set in NYC in the late '90's when the Internet was just beginning and the economy was booming. Goodwillie struggles, and succeeds, and struggles again to find his way to living an authentic and meaningful life in the great city.

I wish my 90's in New York were this productive. What a tale! What a guitar player! What a pair of boots!
