This book takes the sayings that we throw around so commonly ("he has an ax to grind", "a bolt out of the blue," "bite the bullet", "catch 22" etc.) and tells kids exactly what we mean when we say these things. Plus they create a tiny story where each phrase is used in context. The stories are all illustrated with fun cartoons.
