The area covered by this book includes some of the most incredible scenery in the Western United States! And it also contains some of my most favorite backpacking haunts such as Vernal & Nevada Falls and Saddlebag Lake in Yosemite; Giant Jeffrey Walk (good for Northern Goshawks!) and Sardine Falls near Sonora Pass, and Eagle, Velma, Loch Leven and Dardanelles Lakes in the Lake Tahoe area. These are just a few of my favorites!
