I can't find Robert Sabuda's version of the Night Before Christmas on goodreads. That's what we're reading right now. I LOVE his pop up books, they are stunning works of art. I want to be selfish and keep them for myself. Bad Mommy.
This book has been in our collection for years. We adore it. The text is the song which is fun but holds little value. The pop-up art work is exceptional. We love going through this book every year.
I don't understand the appeal of an all white pop-up book--espcially for the Twelve Days of Christmas.
A beautiful book - a marvel of engineering!
This is a very enchanting pop-up book, most probably enjoyed more by adults than children! I don't want children "messing with it" too much! But it does stimulate a child's imagination.
Yet another beautiful book from Robert Sabuda. This is not a book to have around to read - this is a book to have around to admire.

Lovers of Christmas and/or pop-up books
I have been a fan of Robert Sabuda's for years. As a bookseller as soon as you heard that there was a new Sabuda pop-up book coming out you would sprint to the computer to order huge quantities.
Imagine my delight when just after Christmas I found this book not only as a bargain book for $9.99 but with an additional 50% off since it was a Christmas book. I immediately grabbed it and am now kicking myself for not picking up more for all my friends.

Robert Sabuda's pop up work is amazing and makes this incredibly repetitive song enjoyable and engaging. Such a fun way to celebrate the season, ending in a flashing light Christmas tree depicting all twelve gifts, including the obviously enjoyed pie that displayed the seven geese-a-laying :D
This book came with a pop-up ornament that we hang on the tree. Also, this book become a joy to read to the kids because they sing along with you...... I will admit it does take a while to get through the book.
This is a stunning pop-up book of the 12 days of Christmas (obviously) and the final page is a Christmas tree with working fairy lights. This is worth several stars all on their own :-)
This is a fun Christmas book for kids! Any parent would enjoy reading it to their kids while the kids enjoyed listening and looking at the pop-ups!
The pop-ups are absolutely FANTASTIC. They are so detailed and beautiful. Plus it's fun that a familiar song was used for the book.

Sabuda's work is amazing and endlessly fascinating. I've given this as a gift many, many, many times.

Beautiful pop-art, a piece of artwork in itself. Definitely need to keep it away from Garrett for a few years. :)
So pretty, so not recommended for people with small, uncoordinated hands who will tear it up.
These pop-up books are so cool. Calling them pop-ups is kinda like calling a Porsche a car.
A visual treat of a book.
So much fun to read and sing with your child.

"With the ability to hold a crayon came the discovery that I was an artist," says pop-up book master Robert Sabuda. "I spent hours, days and weeks drawing, painting, cutting and gluing. My bedroom was a constant whirlwind of pencil shavings, drippy paint brushes and mounds of paper scraps. My mother's pleas of 'When are you going to CLEAN UP this mess?!' went unanswered."
