5 stars from my 6 year old son. He received this book as a Christmas present from his teacher. Even though we skipped directly to book 5 in the series, we found it engaging for his age level.

This book was a fun read because how relatable the story was. The sibling rivalry, the bully and the fear of not thinking you are good at something has a place that everyone can relate to. Good for EP classes. This is set in a grade 1 room, the students are having a talent show. Probably better used in ESL with older students who already know the past tense well. A good platform for actually running a talent show once the book has been read. :-)

The class is having a talent show! Freddy is scared because he thinks he doesn't have a talent. His grandpa helped him with a magic trick.
