Great read - intense and powerful though not always in a pleasant way. When ultimate good and ultimate evil battle awful things happen to good people [the vamps who are the villains give sadists a bad name.:] And part of battle is those good people recovering and moving on to fight the evil. And sometimes good things happen as well. Love. Friendship. Recovering those thought lost...

Lots of intense, page-turning action in the plot; Navarre is a wonderful damaged hero; and Marissa is a heroine try

Marissa and Navarre were introduced in early books. Their story began in Kiss of Darkness and continues in this fourth installment. The battle between good and evil continues... For me this book was a bit darker then the rest. Both characters have been through so much that I didn't see how it would work out But to see them finally come together was great. While this book was enjoyable, for me Kiss of Darkness was the better book. If you haven't given this series a try I highly recommend it. ...more

Under a barrage of nagging by BFF's, I've been told my bio was boring, not at all a reflection of just who I am beneath the surface, which is a compliment...I think. So, what can I tell you about me?
I don't play video games or watch horror because I can't take the heat, but give me a kickass thriller every minute of every day and I am there. Be prepared for a Hoover Dam meltdown if you're with me
