If you find a four-leaf clover,
It will bring happiness;
don't tell Anyone
Where its white flower
Or how many leaflets from its stem extend.
The four-leaved clover.
I only want your happiness, knowing
I can never be yours to share it.

What a letdown.

Seeing Clover released in a single "complete" omnibus led me to believe this was a completed story. But after finishing a story that was quite unresolved, I find out that CLAMP's head writer for this manga planned a six-volume story. Clover is incomplete and it's glaringly obvious: the ending is abrupt and unsatisfying.

Volume four is more backstory, but on a peripheral character this time. Ora, Sue, and Kazuhiko don't enter the picture much in this "conclusion" despite the fact t

(I read a combined version of all four Clover books, so I'm going to just put the same review on all of them.)

Before I say anything else, I do have to state for the record that the incessant inclusion of song in EVERY panel was very annoying. There was never a rest from it. Sometimes I felt like I couldn't possibly get a good grasp on the characters because there was always that blasted song waggling distractingly in the background, reminding me that despite what might be happening right now in

I loved the background on Ran in this volume, but I'm sad the series is over. :( It feels very unfinished and the ending was really abrupt. Still worth reading, though, I think. I'm glad I continued with the series despite the pretty rocky beginning. I loved the characters, and I wish their story was complete. :(

Cuarto-primer tomo que ahonda en el pasado lejano de la pareja más hermética de Clover: Ran y Gingetsu.

Edición argentina. Tomo 4 de 4. Crónologicamente transcurre antes que los otros tres.

The confusion and cloudiness of the storyline had returned and this final book in this omnibus mainly felt like it was focusing on the other Clover experiments. I did enjoy seeing C grow more close with Kazuhikos friend though.

There relationship was so adorable in a very angsty kind of way. None of the stories really felt wrapped up as I finished up this omnibus though, which I did find slightly disappointing.

Se me hizo tremendamente lento, medio insufrible y el final de Oruha es la cosa más
Deus Ex Machina que he visto jamás.

Si hubiera sido éste el tomo tres, hubiera sido mejor.

Último tomo de Clover, que cronológicamente es el primero. Un perfecto "cierre" a una serie que en su momento me gustó muchísimo. A ver en una relectura qué tan bien se la banca.

I don't want its end up like this.
Why leave code on Tatsuhiko hand isn't fade away? The mission is already completed, isn't?

Or I'm just the one who don't get it
