Two treasures, these. To pick a favorite, I'd have to side with Anything Goes. It's hard not to prefer a musical with such catchy, uplifting lyrics--especially when they arrived to raise the general spirits during the Depression. "Anything Goes" and "Friendship" are, without doubt, my favorite songs.
Cole Albert Porter was an American composer and songwriter from Peru, Indiana.
