When another mystery practically unfolds in front of Judy, she is more than ready to jump in and solve it as well as be a friend to the girl in need and to the reader.

This is a delightful old-fashioned mystery that also teaches a message about greed, forgiveness and what is really important.

This is another book in the Judy Bolton series. Judy meets a woman who is going to a family reunion, of sorts, that will be dealing with the death of her uncle and the division of his property among greedy relatives, not all of whom are who they claim to be. There is the presence of what seem to be ghosts, strange music in the house, an unexpected tunnel, a very interesting neighbor and a disappearing cat

The problem with the story is that, if you have read enough of these types of mysteries, you

Interesting twist in the greedy relatives looking for a missing will in a haunted house mystery. Judy again impersonates someone to solve a mystery, a la Sherlock Holmes, though Holmes doesn't take on the guise an actual person as she does. She also meets a new recurring character, a young relative of the person who died. I like that even the "bad guys" are not usually presented as all bad in this series. The usual illogic in conversations and conclusions, but I guess they are just a given.
