I absolutely adore the "Spore" game phenomenon, but this official game guide has disappointed me. Though it does provide extremely detailed information about the game, most of this information is completely basic. There are some neat contents, such as the appendix of achievements and the various spreadsheets of Space Stage essentials; however, this guide is neither necessary nor important for before, during, or after one plays the game.
