What does one get if the sun, the wind, and the rain come together? Mountain, ocean, erosion, and earth formations. Readers will meet Elizabeth, who will imitate nature and built mountains with sand at the beach. Great resource for teaching compare and contrast. I found this book to be useful when teaching about erosion.

Perfect story describing how a mountain is made for children as it follows a girl on the beach making her own!! Great for a teacher to read to students when discussing landforms :)

Good correlation of mountains formation and a sand mountain. Does explain mountains in terms of millions of years.
