I have decided not to read anymore of these until the last one is published. I just want to know "who done it" without having to read all of the HS drama. I really liked this series at first, but once I got to the third book, all of the drama got old and started to annoy me. Of course, I am WAY past my teenage years; I'm sure that has something to do with it. ;)

***Spoilers for the first three books in the series***

This is definitely a guilty pleasure series. These books are fun to read (they remind me so much of the Gossip Girl books), but perhaps not the most memorable, as I read the first three books of this series a few months ago and found that I was having trouble trying to remember what had happened in the previous books when I picked up this fourth one. I also think I just might have not been in the right mood for this book because it took me s...more

This book is truly breathtaking. In fact all of the pretty little liars books really capture me. These books are perfect if you are in the mood for a murder mystery and you are tired of having all the boys as the hero and/or villan or victim. These books are perfect for any girl who likes to be under a good book spell. They're quick reads if you love them and even though my busy schedule gives barely any time to read, I still found a way to fit in these great books. These books aren't what you t...more

I thought I knew what to expect; Unbelievable is the fourth book in Shepard’s Pretty Little Liars series, following Pretty Little Liars, Flawless, and Perfect. Shepard has a talent for making the series flow together seamlessly. Shepard has talent, period. While each book so far has read like a chapter in the overall series, I keep finding myself satisfied at the end. Don’t mistake me—I still want LOTS more, the who dunnit, the whys, and the hows… But I’ve read some series where their versions o...more

Unbelievable by Sara Shepard is an amazing book about a group of girls who are uncovering a mystery about their best friend Ali. She died the summer of seventh grade and now the girls are getting mysterious notes from someone named "A." Hanna is recovering from her car accident. She is trying to remember who she thought was A before the accident. The accident made her forget a lot so she doesn't remember who she thought was A. Also, she remembers hanging out with this guy Lucas but she thinks th...more

I read Unbelievable by Sara Shepard. It is a mystery/young adult book. It’s the fourth book in the Pretty Little Liars series. There are currently twelve books in the series, and the author is still making new ones. This particular book was published in 2008 by HarperCollins. It is a New York Times best seller. This book takes place in present day, and displays stereotypical teenagers-in-high-school life.
Before this book, there were three other ones. In the first book, Emily, Aria, Hanna, and S...more

In this book, Hannah finally figures out who a is. After getting ahold of all her friends to meet her so she can tell them who "A" is, she runs out in the middle of the street and gets hit by a car who we think is "A" since the car drives off without stop to make sure she is okay. The ambulance is called and there is a big scene. After getting out of her coma, her friends come to visit her to try to find out who "A" is. But since this accident happend, the memory of "A" left her mind. Emily gets...more

This book definitely had me on my toes the entire time. I especially like the way the author made me keep guessing. There was never a moment where I could predict what was going to happen. The way the author slips out secrets was amazing. Every thing that was revealed left me staring at my book, wide-eyed and jaw-dropped. I am currently reading the fifth book of this series (Unbelievable was the fourth) and I am determined to finish all ten books. The author, Sara Shepard, sure knows how you ge...more

WApppa Dappaaa DOOO. This boook was just WOWzerrr!
So we finally found out who A is, as well as some more secrets It's pretty crazy, just when you start to think there's nothing more that could possibly be hidden, just one more secret comes out.
So Jenna makes a confession to Aria on the night she was blinded, my mouth just dropped open after what I read. Alison has so many sides to her, she's just so unpredictable. Even though her body was found, and we find out the killer, I have a slight suspi...more

The first three books in the series all had their problems, but they redeemed themselves with their explosive conclusions. The ending to this one never really sparked. While I was relieved that this book picks up immediately after the third one ends, I was quickly disappointed. Within the first fifty pages everything that happened in the previous novel is resolved. Two of the main characters are even removed from the main action for the weekend immediately involving the events of the third book....more

While reading this book I had many emotions running through my head. I felt really bad for Hannah because she just wanted to know the truth but when she finds out she gets run over by a car. Aria who's in love with Ezra her teacher gets caught and now had to be with her father. Emily who's a lesbian gets sent away from her home to live somewhere else so that she can't see Maya her girlfriend anymore. This part in the book was discrimination to gays. Emily's parents didn't like the fact that she...more

If i could give this book more than 5 stars I WOULD!!!!!!! It was far beyond amazing. Betrayal and A LOT of it!!!! And finally YOU FIND OUT WHO A IS!!! I still cant believe that it is mona though i mean JUST when i thought she wasnt a complete bully. And ezra arias "soulmate" just became a total idiot 1 for leaving aria and 2 for running away from his problems. If it was that easy life would be boring. And hanna came back YAY she isnt dead! And well, Ian is in jail because spencer thinks he kill...more

Four girls; Hanna, Spencer, Aria and Emily are still being haunted by an unknown person named "A". In the Pretty Little Liars series, by Sarah Shepard each of these characters have a deep dark secret that they cannot let out. Spencer is rewarded for plagorizing her sisters senior year essay, because she was too lazy to write her own. Emily is sent to a strict aunts farm because of the secret that her mom didn't like. Aria is kept from her forbidden love, as"A" threats to tell her parents and it...more

Unbelievable by Sara Shepard was the 4th book in the Pretty Little Liars series. It was very awesome at the end!!! I think it is Called Unbelievable for a reason! At the beginning of the book it was just typical Pretty Little Liars. Aria, Hanna, Spencer, and Emily were getting texts from A. But the end - totally changed my whole thought of the book. Spencer and Mona are in the same car and Hanna text Spencer in a panic saying that Mona is A and to get out of the car. They end up both getting out...more

The last time I read a Pretty Little Liars novel, I was a Pretty Little Liars – the show – virgin. Now, however, the same cannot be said. While I do believe it is possible to read and watch at the same time, one almost has to observe them as two separate – albeit similar – entities. There are so many differences between the books and the show that time needs to be allotted so one can re-acclimate themselves to whichever they are consuming at any given time. Even the four main characters' persona...more

Sometimes when I would have trouble in school or maybe with sports I would have to stay strong, and keep on going through with it. Just like in the book, everyone has trouble with things, but you just have to keep on going through with it and keep your head up during tough times. In Unbelievable written by Sara Shepard, the four main characters, Spencer, Aria, Hanna, and Emily all face the same problems and are really struggling, just like what happens to people in real life. This problem that h...more

Still not that close and living their own lives, Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily are getting text messages from A. Aria got into a huge fight with her mom, and doesn’t live with her or her brother anymore. She lived with Sean, her boyfriend, and Hanna’s ex-boyfriend for a little bit, but then got kicked out of his house. Aria got kicked out because she was seeing her English teacher, Mr. Fitz. A got a picture of the two of them kissing and sent it to Sean, who reported it to the cops. Now Aria l...more

“Unbelievable” is the fourth book of the Pretty Little Liars series. This is yet another thrilling read that follows the lives of Spencer, Hanna, Emily and Aria who are continuously threatened with anonymously sent information through text message by “A”. The drama persists as they find more clues as to who killed their best friend Ali, and how they each deal with it differently. As well as how they try to maintain their personal lives. Spencer has to try to hide the fact that the award that she...more

Like all of the Pretty Little Liars books, Unbelievable was, well, unbelievable! I especially loved this book because it was kind of like the grand finale of the first four books. It had a amazing suspense and Sara Shepard constantly kept me guessing as to who A was and who Alison's killer was. She has a way, sort of like Poe, of twisting the story so that the main characters are the ones to blame. I also apreciate Sara's diversity and her knowledge of all things fashion. SO much happened in th...more

The book Unbelievable by Sara Shepard is a very excellent book. It is a fabulous read for most people. However, I believe that girls who enjoy realistic fiction and mystery will enjoy this book the most. It includes both mystery and fiction in an action packed way.
I personally enjoyed this book, it was able to keep me at the edge of my seat. It was presented in a suspenseful way, and was extremely unpredictable. However, no matter how much I enjoyed this book it is still very difficult to rel...more

The answer is obviously not, as there are four more books in the series. When it was first put out this book was supposed to be the last, but the author agreed to put out more due to pressure from the publisher. (Thanks publishers!)

The now not so fab four have all new problems on their hands. Emily has been sent out to the country, only to find that her problems will follow her wherever she goes. Hanna's still in a coma, but will she still remember A's identity when she wakes up? Aria's trying...more

This book is about four teenage girls who used to be friends who start getting threatening messages from a person named “A”. The person knows all their secrets. They used to be best friends with Alison DiLaurentis who was murdered by someone three years age. They don’t know who murdered her. The characters are Aria, Hanna, Spencer, and Emily. Aria is very artistic, Hanna is obsessed with shopping and being popular, Spencer is extremely smart, and Emily is sporty.

I was really excited to start this one after the end of Perfect - I wanted to know what had happened to Hanna. At first I was a little disappointed: it felt like it took ages for the plot to get moving, because it was split between four different points of view and so there were little cliffhangers all the time and it was just very spread out. BUT! It did get moving, and the mystery of A comes to a big climax in Unbelievable.

Sara Shepard really does do a great job with the mystery. I did figure...more
