I loved it! I was in Jr. High at that time and very much in love with anything set in England. I wanted to write myself and it was very encouraging to me. I loved it so much that I sent a fan letter to Ms. Wehen. I signed it Lauree rather than Billie since you don't find too many girls outside the south named Billie. A more impartial reviewer may give this book a 2 or 3, but I found this little mystery/romance set in post WWII England as charming as when I read and reread it as a teen. And reread it. And reread it.
I've enjoyed this lightweight romantic suspense novel since my junior high school days. I keep re-reading it to get a picture of London.
