This book is a good picture book to see what kids can grasp from just pictures. This book has no writing so it is enjoyable for all ages. The pictures do a really great job at describing what is going on in the book. Each picture is like a piece of the puzzle and the puzzle makes more sense at the end. Charming book for adults and children alike. The book is just pictures, no words, but the story is clear. A little girl gets up in the night because she can't sleep, and discovers that her father is already awake because he can't sleep either. Before long the entire family is in the warm kitchen sharing a sleepless night. The book ends with family, parents, kids, and pets, all asleep in bed as the sun is rising outside the window

This is a story about a guy who can't sleep and than his family wakes up and they sit around the table and mingle. Than they go outside and than back inside to sleep. The kids go into the parents room and sleep with them. This book tells us that they are a happy family and enjoy family time. The message the book is saying is to enjoy family times and have a happy relationship with them.
