This is the "weakest" of the Stray Bullets collections but it's still better than most comics on the shelves. It seems like Lapham struggled a bit with introducing a multi-part story arc at first (the first collection being the combination of several mini-stories designed to introduce the reader to the world and characters), it took a bit longer than necessary to unfold but the final issue was explosive and worth the wait.

Pulp violence. It's not profound, but every once in a while you need some pill-popping harlots shanking clowns.
