Have made 2 1/2 patterns from this book.
I've made two pairs of socks from this book. The Cable Rib Socks are insanely comfortable and I wear them weekly, and the Embossed Leaves Socks are too pretty to wear. I put them on and wave my feet about for a bit to admire them, then back into the drawer with them. Maybe I'll have them framed.
Collection of patterns from Interweave Knits makes it easy to find socks I want to knit. Now I don't have to go searching through my magazine collection. Love the patterns, the designers.
My mother won this book as a prize and when she showed it to me I almost took it from her, but I was a decent child and purchased my own. This book is fabulous and I love making the socks.
If I ever finsih my current projects I want a lesson in how to use DPN's better, THIS book, and LOTS of sock yarn. I can seriously see myself wearing 95% of these sock patterns.
I was pretty disappointed. They didn't seem to correct the known errors in the patterns and I already had the version from the magazine.
So far I've knit two pairs of retro rib socks and two embossed leaves socks. Lovely patterns and comfy to wear too!
Many nice patterns, but not for beginners.
Tried and true designs. Many good standards.
Many techniques, beautiful patterns.
Lots of great patterns. Yay!
Great sock patterns
Vanilla socks.
wonderful patterns
Some very lovely sock patterns.
Oh so beautiful socks. Kudos to the designers!
I'm an expert knitter who's more into process than product and the third pattern in this book has already introduced me to a new concept. Well-conceived book with interesting patterns - well worth the price to add to your library.
Basic socks...but i'm liking the cross socks
The socks in the book are pretty much your basic socks, so if you have other sock books and fall in love with a pattern from here, i'd check it out from the library. Good instructions.

Got this as a holiday gift from my brother in law. I'm still mulling over which sock to make. I bought the yarn, but I'm still indecisive. The planning is at least half the fun!
I just got it- it has great sock patterns. I have been making the same socks over and over again so I am excited to try a more difficult pair!
I loved pretty much every sock pattern in this book! Very pretty designs that range from easy to adventurous.
There are such loverly patterns in here for both men's and ladies socks. I find them inspirational.
If you have years worth of back-issues of IK, don't bother. Otherwise, BEAUTIFUL patterns.
I found some really pretty socks that I would like to try to make.
ONE day I will learn how to knit socks!
I am living in this book!
