Extremely academic essays on politics, the history of rhetoric, and more. Slow moving and hard to follow at times due to its highly academic language and subjects. However, the information itseld is interesing and useful. Hugh Nibley is an absolutely brilliant scholar.

Read in January, 2006
Excellent book for history buffs. Nibley associates things in such a way as to make you view the world of today differently than before you read his words. Truly, we cannot understand where we are if we do not know how we got here- Nibley sheds welcome light!
