This book was harder to read because it seemed more like Defining Red Sox Greatness Across Pesky's lifetime. He is biased to pick some former teammates who played a few seasons rather than players that spent 7-8 seasons with Boston. Despite Yastrzemski being a LF, he wanted him to have a #1 spot so Pesky chose him for his RF position. While Yaz did play other positions, these kinds of choices leave off players who I would expect to be in this book. This is the second book of Pesky's I have read...more
