This book is full of information for those considering a new dog or just wanting to learn more about their dog. I find this book to be the best dog breed encyclopedia out there. Just enough information on each breed to be thought provoking, but not so much as to become tedious. This book offers a fair assessment of the personality traits of each breed, as well -- it doesn't sugar-coat every breed, but rather tells you the pros and cons of each type of dog. If you are thinking of adding a dog to your life, check out this book.
