The Fearless series is a great young adult series with appeal (i think) for both boys and girls (of course never having been a teenage boy~i can't really say for sure). Although it deals with the feelings of a young woman "born without the fear gene" and all the subsequent doubts and insecurities of dealing with that and the normal growing pains of adolescence it also has a fair amount of adventure and intrigue.
It makes great high interest reading for the "reluctant reader" because it is not dif

The One With Gaia's Rebel Side

Everyone likes a dare. Especially Gaia. When Gaia, Ed, and new-best-friend Mary start a Truth or Dare Game, Gaia's picking of "Dare" leads her to explore the reckless side of her. Meanwhile, Mary's past is coming back to haunt her. Her old dealer wants his money back . . . or else.

This one felt more like a filler. I did enjoy it, but it was very flat. I di

I've read this series over ten years ago. But I remember it being very good. For the first 18 books. After that the more it lasted the worst it got. I stopped at book 32. These days I wouldn't give it more than 20.

Back to the good stuff. I found that Gaia was a good strong, pretty but still flawed character. She was special without being annoying. It's just that once the author stopped looking over the shoulder of the ghost writer. Things went down the drain pretty fast.

Last note. The series may

I have to say...I really loved these books when I was a teenager. I love the concept, I think its exceptionally unique. With that said...every book starts to have the exact same format. It's what killed Nicholas Sparks for me. Don't be predictable! And I can't imagine reading all 30+ of these. I loved the first 3...after that, enough is enough.

Great concept, too many books.

Not to mention, language is an issue. Tone it down.

I enjoyed reading these when I was younger. It was a good, short read with a great concept. However, it was very predictable.

Gaia was an awesome character, easily relatable even if she was more special than most. She still had her flaws, and in the book she was finding herself as a young woman.

Really love this series- this book included! Well written, it appeals to almost any teenager and the action scenes are well mapped out and easy to visualise, something which I feel like is a big let down in other action books. Definitely worth a read!

Very fun indeed! Altho' I wish at times she'd cool it on this series with the sex scenes. It should be. and is, a good action book series--but not that much "action" 'cos most kids will get the wrong idea. Point made I find the series addicting.

This book finally tells you the mystery behind Gaia's family. That's the most significant thing I can pick out of this book...

Now, this one was good. It's like fanfic in the unrealness of it, but it's so predictable. I still like it.
