A feel-good book for middle class women who seem to be continually obsessed with the best shampoo and the prettiest clothes. Gimme a break! Where is the powerful she-goddess of post menopause? Where are the women who don't care a flip what people think? Where are the women who are using their power to empower and change the world?
I'd highly recommend this one for women headed towards or at this stage of life (and for others who live with them). It provides very healthy insights on this stage of our lives and focuses attention on the positives--a refreshing approach!
I can't even give this a 1 star. She's the Joel Osteen of menopause. According to her, just think happy thoughts & everything will be ok. I had hoped for better information. Wasted my money on this book, that's for sure.
Great to know there is a good life before, during and after menopause.
A positive review of menopause and related subjects.
Great resource!
Loving it!
Well, there are a few things that I disagree with but for the most part, this is all about feeling good about yourself and your life and the world around you. I would actually give this 4.5 stars because a feel good book while proceeding through menopause is EXACTLY what I need!
I can't believe I forgot to rate this book. I started listening to this book and it just came off as so silly and trite that I stopped after about the first hour.
Sometimes we need to be reminder of who and what we are.
