Ann Heinrichs has written an entire series of books like this one, each is based on a different state. The book's layout is interesting and isn't too terribly text-heavy, making it very visually appealling. Heinrichs imagines a family going on a cross-country trip, making stops in each state. She picks out well-known landmarks in Wyoming, such as Yellowstone National Park, the state capital in Cheyenne, and Cheyenne Frontier Days, but she also highlights lesser-known places like Star Valley ...more
