The prose in this book was a joy to read through. Having been short stories in a newspaper, this collection of articles/anecdotes, etc was delightfully amusing, but yet informative as well. The information provided was not overwhelming, nor was it excessively boring. This book gave insight into the history of the Sawtooth area and what life was/is like for its inhabitants.
It was nice to know the history of my state but if you are looking for intersting facts rather than personal stories this book is not for you.
