Summary: Chouko has lived with Kei since her parents died in a car accident her first year of high school. Her guardian is a gruff-but-sexy author 12 years her senior. In this first volume, the two have each realized their love for each other but are both too fragile and hesitant to act on it. Still, Chouko is staying with Kei, keeping his house, and tending his garden even though he told her she could move out when she started college.

The art, the storyline, are tremendously beautiful. What a beautiful love this author has written. Words to describe it are: deep, calm, touching, a beautiful story to read! Definitely recommend it! It's the kind of manga that you want to come back to and reread every so often. Not cliche like so many stories are, and it was touchingly done. Definitely a favourite of mine.

18 year old Chouko and her 30 year old guardian, Kei are both scarred, broken people. When Chouko is 16, both her parents died in an accident. Curt, withdrawn Kei stepped in and offered a home to the girl who had stopped speaking. Together they began to heal through her quiet efforts in the garden. Now Chouko is graduating from high school and is free, but finds she doesn't want to leave the man she has grown to love ~ and not as a father figure. A quiet romantic love story ~
Loved it. You can tell it's gonna be a sweet story. I hope I get to read the rest of the series someday!
