Adrian Wright never knew he was a dad until seven years after a brief encounter. Not until she was on her deathbed did his old fling get him the message that she'd gotten pregnant, and given the baby up for adoption without ever contacting Adrian. This was a quick, enjoyable and heartwarming romance. Who could not help but fall in love with Carly, the sweet, adorable seven-year old, who could tug at your heartstrings with her trusting and innocent nature? And, Katie was not only beautiful and a whiz in the kitchen, but tough and resilient as she coped with the difficult task of being a single parent.
