While reading this, I was thinking, "Why would the author make another book about crazy adventures that Andy has?" I mean, almost all the stories in all the books are the same. Andy does some pretty crazy stuff and more often than not, gets caught and gets in even bigger trouble. But while looking for the right word to describe Andy's adventures in this book, I found myself struggling and finally relenting myself to use the term, 'wacky'. I guess the book's title does fit the 9 short stories her ...more

This book is bout a kid named Andy Griffths who does things that are really wacky and dumb. he tris to take of a band-aid that has been on for six months, and he also tries to Fly up in the air but he almost gets killed and then he does plenty more of crazy things.

I can connect to this book because I have done crazy things. I have had a jump so high on my bed and hit my up on the celling, and it hurt me so much. I also tried to fly before but that did not work out, i hurt my self so badly.

I really liked this book. It's a classic that's full of humor and it's a book that I can relate to so that makes it easier for me to understand. I may have not experienced A LOT of the things that Andy experiences but there are moments like those that are kind of like what Andy went through. It's a just right book because it's not that hard to read but it's also not too easy either.

Just Wacky, a collection of stories about band-aids that have been in place for months, a dog eating the kid's flying saucer project, a balloon trip and other tale of woe, actually had me laughing out loud. Andy Griffith really has in hand on the pulse of third through fifth grade boys with this one of a series. "Contains immature marerial not suitable for adults" - so true!

My son & I have really enjoyed every book in this author's series of "Just..." books. My son also likes all of the "Butt" books from this same author. (He read those to himself so I don't know how good they are.)
