This book is handed down from my mom. It's cool that I'm reading the same physical book to Izzy that she read to me.

As a kid I remember finding the illustrations kind of scary. As an adult I still do. There's something unsettling and creepy about Rockwell's art. Izzy doesn't seem to think so though, so maybe I'm just a wuss.

Just a warning to parents, this book goes to TWENTY, not ten! (e.g. 17 apple pies, 18 returning war vets, 19 white people) If your kid insists on counting everything, you ma
