Betrayed was a good book. It had started off great and it was full of suspense. It started off with a very wealthy man ready to find a good women and he did just that when him and his friends went to the club and a girl in distress. And from then on out they just clicked. Between being ab the drug dealer, gang life wasnt easy. Between him having enemies wanting to tear him apart, friends trading, and a crazy baby momma all was betraying him. It was one person who he knew would never do that.

It managed to both meet and defy my expectations for the Urban Fiction genre; unsurprising as this is the first Urban Fiction I've read. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed the surprise twist ending. The sex was more mechanical than sensual, but I'm not sure if that was a genre convention or not.

I learned from this book that you can't trust everybody no matter what they tell you about themselves and how well they treat you because in the end anything can happen and people can turn on you in a heart beat.
