This is a pretty hot book. I would give it 3 1/2 stars. Its not as hot as other Lora Leigh books however and I'll tell you why.

Embraced was the first in the 2 novellas in this book. It was a really good erotic suspense. The fact that Marey tried to keep sax out of it made her all the more likeable. It stopped her being so much of a wallflower. This story sizzled with extra sizzle lets see if Ian's story matches it.

I gave this book 3.5 stars simply for the sex scenes, which were typical of Lora Leigh - hot, hot, hot! Unfortunately the romance part of the stories left a lot to be desired. I definitely prefer a book where the characters are not totally blind to their feelings. In Embraced, Marey was so determined NOT to give in and love Sax, and in Shameless, Ian fought his attraction and feelings for Courtney with everything he had. At some points the characters' actions bordered on juvenile. I didn't love More...

Would have rated it higher but I just could not get into Courtney. Iam was okay but Courtney sort of pissed me off which is all good because she is one of the most memorable of the women in the series. Sort of like Tally from Bound Hearts 4. The difference (beside the obvious) was that Courtney was younger so I contributed some of her actions to her youth whereas Tally was grown and all DIVA. So, my problem with Courtney was all on me -- not Lora Leigh.

This was a fun sexy book. I enjoyed the second story much more than the first. Courtney is up there in my favorites of the woman that drive these men crazy with all the schemes. Her and Tally should team up more often to reek havoc.

Both stories are very good. Series just keeps getting better with each story.

Erotic as all get out. Character growth excellent, and well-thought out plots.

That was tawdry in just the right way.
