Unusual recipes including duck, rabbit, and scallops. Some very good risotto recipes as well. Meditteranean Inspired...good pics. I like this one a lot.

Pretty pictures and I "get" using fresh, local, seasonal ingredients with good olive oil and wine, but didn't feel compelled to copy down any of the recipes.

Actually I'm not done perusing and salivating through this cookbook, but it features my absolutely favorite flavors. The head notes and flavor tips and sumptuous photography as well as the simplicity of ingredients will probably make me check this book out again from the public library to cook more of its dishes, especially the small plates; chicken and other backyard livestock; fish; and salads. What I've already copied into my recipe file that I'll for sure cook one day: Pan-roasted Asparagu

Unique recipes and ingredients--a wonderful addition to the Mediterranean cookbook genre

The "small bites" chapter is yummy looking. The main dishes are not overly complicated, but still interesting--some fun combinations and variations I hadn't thought about before. Overall it's another "let the food speak for itself" cookbook, and I'm always a fan of those!

BEAUTIFUL cookbook!!! Think the Olive Oil Lemon Cake is going to be my signature cake--have made it a couple of times (just whipped it out for my Mommy's Birthday this morning!) and it truly is perfection.
