Recommends it for: 8th grade and up
A collection of poetry aimed at teens, written about animals and illustrated with complex notebook-and-ballpoint-pen doodles. The format is cool, but I'm not sure that the average teen will seek this out. It would be fun to try out loud like a rap or poetry slam, except that the poems aren't *that* good when they stand alone. Might be interesting to give to those who loved Shel Silverstein as kids.

Meh! Some poems were funny, most not. This is aimed for kids and some poems were definitely not kid friendly.
